Hints: Topic- Celebration of Eco-friendly Diwali, give meeting place, give suggestions for celebrating eco-friendly Diwali

Answer:

(In the market)

Rohit: Hi!

Mohit: Hello!

Rohit: Have you finished your shopping?

Mohit: Yes, almost finished excluding crackers.

Mohit: You?

Rohit: Yes.

Rohit: But I think the time has come now to change the way to celebrate our festivals.

Mohit: What do you mean?

Rohit: I mean, we should celebrate Eco -friendly Diwali.

Mohit: Yeah! I also feel the same. If we keep on following traditional way of celebration, we will be in big trouble.

Rohit: Yes. The increasing population, urbanization and industrialisation problems in our country have caused unprecedented pollution.

Mohit: True! In addition to this, we burn the fireworks during Diwali festival. In the name of celebration people release tons of toxic into the environment.

Rohit: We must celebrate Diwali differently. Our cities have already become polluted. We can't afford to pollute them anymore.

Mohit: Yes, we must sacrifice burning crackers. Crackers have only adverse effects.  By burning crackers ,we actually burn hard earned money, purity of the environment and jeopardize the health of children and senior citizens.

Rohit: How true! The emissions from burning crackers and effigies (We burn effigy of Rawan on Dussehra) contain harmful gases.

Mohit: Yes. If we breathe in polluted air, it will cause the disease like Asthma. And some loud sounded fireworks cause deafness too.

Rohit: You are right! I think people must realize the gravity of situation and become wiser. They should celebrate festivals but not cause pollution.

Mohit: Yes. The government should also take actions to reduce pollution. They should create awareness about the current pollution rate and the consequences of burning fireworks.

Rohit: Ya. I think the Supreme Court has also banned the sale of loud sounded crackers.

Mohit: Yes. But I think we should not wait for the government or any other legal action regarding this. We should take the initiative to celebrate Eco- friendly Diwali as Charity begins at home.

Rohit: Ya. We should make a resolution to celebrate Eco-friendly Diwali.

Mohit: Nice resolution. Bye. Happy Diwali!

Rohit: Same to you. Bye! See you! Let's celebrate Eco-friendly Diwali.
