Homonyms generally include two categories of word types:
homophones and
homographs.
Homographs:
Homographs are words that are spelled the same but have different meanings.
Here are some common homographs-
Atmosphere - the gases surrounding the earth / the mood of a situation

Beat - to overcome something / to feel exhausted
Capital - the chief city of a state / a crime punishable by death
